How do I get my email off my iphone?
12harley,I appreciate the additional details. To remove the email account from the Email app on your iPhone you would go to Settings>Mail, Contact, Calenders. Tap on your email account you want to remove and scroll down and tap Delete Account.LindseyT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
Did you actually save email to your phone or are you referring to emails saved on the email server?
I'm not very smart when it comes to computers, phones. Old school. LOl. What I did was I opened the web on my phone, put in my email address and started getting my emails on the phone and still on my laptop. Only want it on my laptop. Just don't know how to get it back off my phone.
12harley, This is something we can absolutely help with! Just to clarify what you need done I have a couple questions. If you tap on the Mail app do you see your emails show up there? Or are you viewing them when you use Safari? What kind of email app are you using? Is it Gmail, MSN, Hotmail, ect......? SarahO_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
12harley,We are here to assist with getting that email account off of your phone. When you access the internet on your iPhone do you just tap on Safari or do you tap on Email app? If you tap on Safari to access your email then we can just close out the webpage. To close a webpage tab tap on Safari app, at the bottom right of the screen you will see an option that looks like 2 squares, tap on it. Once you tap on the 2 squares it will open up all the tabs/webpages that are open on your device. Once you see the tab/webpage you want to close tap on the small "x" on the top left of the webpage/tab you want to close.LindseyT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
I tap on the mail app. Emails show right up. It is a yahoo account.
Those emails are stored on Yahoo servers. They will essentially follow you on any device that you use the app on, as long as you don't delete the email from Yahoo.
Removed the Yahoo account from your device's email setting and you will remove access to that account
This is for Lindsey T VZW. Thank you so much. It worked. Whew!!1 LOL. You are great. Thanks again.
