Why I can't receive texts

Around March I suddenly stopped receiving texts from people that aren't on Verizon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about messaging stopping for you. Did you replace your phone or make any other account changes around this time? Are you still able to successfully send messages to those individuals? What happens on their end when they try to send messages to you?
