How do I log onto my verizon cloud messages on someone else's phone?

Sometimes my phone is dead and I have no way to read my messages. All I have is my girlfriend's phone but every time she goes on the cloud app it doesn't even give her a chance to sign into a specific account. If anyone can help that would be great!
