swaping cell phones

We have a family share plan with 4 lines.  My husband just upgraded to a phone that he is not happy with, but our daughter says she would like it.

What is the best way to swap their phones?  I thought about returning the new phone, but there is a $35 restocking fee and shipping costs and he could use her old phone until we find something he likes better.

For swapping two active lines, you would need to go into the store, and ask them to swap the numbers.  We've done this before and it works pretty well.  Your pictures, ringtones, etc go with the phone, but voicemail setup and messages are associated with the number itself.
