Data discrepancy

Hi,

So I have an IPhone 6 and when I look up my used data, Verizon mobile tells me I used 5.76GB. That got me thinking and I pulled up my cellular data usage on the phone (which I reset religiously every beginning of a bill cycle) and everything added up on the phone is only 4.852GB. Can someone maybe explain this discrepancy?

Usage reported from other towers AFTER the bill cycle completed.

Reporting times are delayed. It is up to the owner of the tower as to when they report.
