Arg! A phone that won't make calls.

My droid eris HTC shut down on me while I was talking last night. The battery wasn't dead, and I've tried a soft and hard reset. Now all the processes on my phone, including google software have "unexpectedly stopped working" and I can't make a call or receive a call. Any suggestions? I'm taking this in to the store today, I hope it's just a dud.

The network on your phone could have shut down or there could have been a system error. My best advice for you would be to either take it to your nearest Verizon wireless store to let a technician try to diagnose your issue or call to technical support at 1-800-922-0204 option 3 in case your phone needs a software update.
