i no longer can send text messages to non iphone users or iphone users but my phone is on and i can dial out and stuff , and my data is on 1x but its really 3G

running_bear12, Your messages are important so let's figure this out! What happens when you try to send the message? Do you receive any error? Is your phone currently connected to any Wifi Networks? It will also be helpful to know where you are located (zip code)  to look into your phone showing 1x vs 3G.
