Problem with Spectrum 2. Can't hear unless speaker is on (mute is off).

Having to have all conversations while on speakerphone can be quite frustrating. Let's find out what is going on. Is there any damage to the phone, either physical or liquid? When did this start happening? Please provide some additional details.
