So I went to bed with wifi that was working just fine and one that I normally never have an issue with. I woke up this morning to a text from Verizon saying that my data was at 75% (I have 2 GB and given that I'm always near a place with wireless it's suited me just fine for years), and noticed that my wifi wasn't working. I turned it on and off, turned the airport mode on and off, did all sorts of troubleshooting things that Google told me to do (reset network settings, hard turn off, normal turn off, a combination of all of these things, etc.). Nothing has worked. I can turn ON and OFF the wifi just fine in the settings but NO network names come up on the list. My wireless router is working just fine, as I can access the internet from my macbook air and my kindle fire. I do have a case, but it's plastic (I've seen other people saying some metal cases have interfered with their wireless)
I've moved closer to the wireless router, I've unplugged and replugged the wireless router, reset the wireless router, but all to no avail--no wireless networks listed on my iPhone. None at all, not mine, not dozens of my neighbours. I do have an upgrade available and have been wanting to upgrade to the 5s (because the 6 is just too expensive for my taste right now), but I won't get paid until next Friday. Is there anything else I can do to fix this for now that I'm not thinking of? I do not have warranty anymore, but I do have some kind of insurance (although the last time my phone broke they didn't fix it or give me a new one for free/for a reduced price so I'm not entirely sure what kind of insurance I have).
