TTitle says it all. My password isn't working on my iPhone but does on my ipad4
Have you tried power cycling the device and then seeing if you can use it again?
Power cycle
Hard reset - Hold sleep/wake button and home button together for 10 seconds then let go for reboot
Reset network settings in Settings/General/Reset.
