Ever since my android software update, my phone won't automatically refind the network after being in an area without service. I have to manually restart the phone. So unless i realize that I am in an area without service, my phone basically shuts down and won't receive any further calls.

Me too!! NOT happy!! I did not have to reboot my phone at all since I got it last year, now since I installed the new os, I too have to reboot in the same scenario. I work in a building that does not get very good signal inside (if any at all), and now every day after work I have to remember to reboot the phone because it will not re find the network!! Please tell me there is a fix on the way for this!!

We want to make sure you have service fscarbrough! What is the make/model of your device? What zip code are you in? Is anyone else having this issue? Does this happen at a specific area?

I live in the 31406 zip code area.

It happens everytime I travel when I enter an area that has no service. When I re-enter my home area, I have to restart my phone. Before the software update, it would automatically connect back to the network once in range.

You might want to try a new and free SIM card from a corporate store.

You should not have to reboot your phone all the time in order to get service LVBP! Do you get an error on the screen or does it just show no service? When did this start? Anyone else having this issue?

I have another thread started on this as well with exact same issue. My phone is just fine until I lose service, once the service is lost then it just says it's searching all the time but never finds anything. Unfortunately in my office space at work I have horrible reception inside, it use to be that I could just step out into the hall and get my updated texts or send texts but now I have to reboot 3-4 times a day. For me this happened immediately after the Lollipop update.
