I have to be away for a month. I have to use public WiFi to access internet during that time and do seroius personal work with iphone5. How can I be secure?
Use VPN.
Here is what I do. I have a router at home that can also act as a VPN router. The one I use is the ASUS RT-AC87U, but there are others out there that have this function, but most of them are higher end. I can then VPN to my home router, have a secure connection, plus have access to my home network.
There are also commercial services that will give you VPN access. If you are doing this for a company, ask if that have a secure VPN.
There's really no way to be completely secure when using public WiFi, but Weth's suggestion of using VPN is the best way to go if security is important.
