my screen has lines on it and flickering. I've already turned it off and on again a few times. That didn't work. What do I do next?
Do a hard reset (doesn't erase anything).
Press home one button and power/wake button together until,Apple logo appears.
Any past water/moisture damage? This sounds more like hardware failure. Do you have any extended warranty on it if it is more than a year old? If it is less than a year take it to Apple.
