how to create an "@vzw.blackberry.net" email address

I've seen these addresses posted a few times and was wondering how do I go about adding this to my phone and then setting up an email account for it. Mind you I am a first time BB user, and the service rep did the setup for my phone and my husband's while we were in the store for about 3 hours!!!!! He was great (William from the Salem, NH store btw, fanfreakingtastic he was, soooo helpful!!)

Well he should have done that for you too my store rep. did mine. If you can't get it here then call the 800-922-0204 and ask for BB tech support. be sure you call from a different phone. Most create it with your first name and a number. mine is Lee41@vzw.blackberry.net I would have chosen a different number but she didn't ask me. I use this for any apps I buy and have them sent to my phone. It is easier to download them from VZW email right into the phone.

Welcome to the forums. To set up your blackberry email account, check out this pdf file from Verizon. Follow the steps and you will have a vzw.blackberry.com email account.

If you have the storm...you can set one up from the email settings in your settings folder. Thats how i did mine .....

yes thats how i set up my vzw email too...email settings....i guess the tour doesnt have that?
