Message + Duplicate Numbers Displayed

Using the Message + app, duplicate phone numbers will display for a contact when I select the person I would like to send a text to. For example, if I want to send person "A" a text message, each phone number (Home, Work, Mobile) that I have loaded in his or her contact will pop up multiple times, at least 5-6 times per number. How do I prevent the duplicate numbers when I select who I want to send a message to?

markw361, that is very strange. I use Message+ and am not getting that issue. Let's work together to get this fixed. What is the make/model of the phone? Is the application updated? When did this start?

The phone I have is the Galaxy S6.

The version of Message + on my phone is 6.0.6.

It started to duplicate the numbers when I loaded all of my contacts to the Verizon cloud and synchronized the cloud to my phone,

Thanks for sharing those additional details. We definitely to figure this out. From the sound of it, this may be related to how your contacts are saved and to which accounts. Do you have your current contacts saved to both the device and an email such as Gmail? If so, when choosing a contact to message, once you start typing their details it will pull up their information from any account that will have their information saved.

No – I do not have contacts save to my Gmail account or any other Email account. Only the Verizon Cloud.
