I see that some people are having problems after updating to Lollipop. Might it be best to wait to install that?
It's often a lot of trouble to try and avoid installing it, so it's best to do it properly and by choice. A factory reset is recommended, without data back up and restore, however I updated and without doing one and while I experience some issues, most are easily resolved.
