Says i have Voicemail

I have logged into my voicemail from both my phone and a land line

Verizon ya know what? I really dont like this network at all. Ive been with them since the mid 90's and mainly kept them because it was the only network that WORKS where i live.
But would you believe that for the past 4 years or more, my phone has said i have
"2 Voicemail Messages"

Its always said this. Even when i check my VM and it tells me i have NO new messages, i go into the messages marked for deletion. Again. nothing there.
I cant get my phone to STOP telling me i have voicemail

I totally understand why you’re frustrated with having your phone display you have new messages when you’ve checked and deleted everything from your mailbox. This has been going on for far too long, so let’s figure out what’s happening and get it fixed right away.

How are you accessing your voicemail from your phone? Are you using the Verizon Wireless voicemail or another voicemail service (i.e YouMail or Google Voice)? Try cancelling call forward by dialing *73 + Send, then dial *86 to check to see if you get a different result. Keep us posted on if this helps.
