freezing during a phone call

My iPhone 6 freezes in the middle of a call. I get a black screen and cannot do anything. I have to hold the home button and the power button for 30 seconds to restart my phone. This does not happen on every phone call, but frequently enough that it is super annoying. I have the most recent update of the iOS, i did it yesterday.

Sorry to hear about the issues with your new phone. We don't want anyone to have to deal with these troubling issues. Let's see what we can find out about this. Just so that I'm clear, did this issue arise before or after you completed the most recent iOS update? If it was happening prior to the update, please advised how long ago this began. Thank you.
