My phone was perfect until this morning. My phone was supposed to download and install updates while I was sleeping. Instead, I woke up to a phone in safe mode that said the updates were complete. I thought that was odd and restarted the phone. Still in safe mode. Upon reading, I discovered that this can happen if the lower volume button becomes stuck. It wasn't stuck last night. In fact, the button seems to not be physically stuck at all; it just isn't responsive. Out of desperation, I entered recovery mode and did a factory reset (sort of by mistake). Guess what? Still in safe mode. I'm so mad and disgusted that I could seriously smash this stupid phone with a hammer. Into a million little tiny stupid pieces. If there's anything I can do to fix this (short of purchasing a new phone that will definitely NOT be another Edge) please enlighten me.
