Can't send/receive pictures in messages

Hi for the past month I have not been able to send or receive pictures messages. I have the galaxy s6. I use the default messaging app on my phone. Rebooting my phone has not helped. I do not want to factory reset my phone. Can u help? I read other posts about the same issue and was unable to find a solution that worked.

I'd try deleting the cache and data of the messaging app.

settings>applications>application manager>message+

clear data, clear cache and restart your device.

Are you connected over Wi-Fi? If so, turn that off.

Are you using the Messages+ app which is known as Verizon Messages or the native Messages app that Samsung designed into the phone that looks like a white envelope with a yellow designed at the top?

Switch between both apps and see if anything changes, also make sure that that Messages+ is updated through the Google Play Store. Ensure your mobile data is also enabled as sending and receiving picture/video messages requires data to upload or download any file. Make sure your software is up to date as well, if you still have issues contact Verizon so they can double check your texting features and refresh whatever they need to on their end.
