After I push the power button, the screen goes from black to a picture. This is where you slide to open home page or enter password, etc. This screen only stays lit, 2 seconds. How can I extend the time for this initial screen.
Check your display settings and Lock Screen for timeout intervals. Try to see if you can make the interval longer.

Hello. I am new to the 'forum' discussions, I read a lot of them when I have a problem and some kind person who took the time to answer questions helped me. I don't know if I am supposed to answer this question here, or may I ask a question? I am having the same problem with my LG Transpyre and the screen timeout on lock screen. I have set it for every amount of time available, even "leave on". Nope, not even 10 seconds! I have pulled the battery, and everything I can think of. I am not a 'computer geek' (nothing wrong with that!), so I get lost when folks start talking about commands, etc. But I am not new. The only thing I haven't tried, which I will now, is to change the timeout time, and then immediately restart. I am not using a pin, just swipe. Can anyone help me? Its so annoying!
