text messages appear to be sending but not reaching recipiant.

I updated to iphone6 8/4. All is well...BUT, my texts are not reaching the recipient. I can recieve his text but he does not receive mine--from iphone or verizon msg. I have imessage turned off, I have MMS and group turned on, he is not on my blocked list, he is with US Cellular, and has a Samsung galaxy. I did a hard reset and deleted his contact information from all forms of contacts. Anyone else have this problem with MMS/SMS?

do you know if this person is also on Verizon Wireless? are they receiving texts from other people?

Help has arrived SouthHC. My apologies to hear of the issues you're having w/ your text messages. Allow me to step in and assist you. Let's go to Settings > Messages > let's ensure that "Send as SMS" is on/green, MMS Messaging and group messaging is green/on. Try and send a text message to your own 10 digit number and see if you receive it ok. If you do, you are receiving & sending ok on your end, and the issue may be with the other number. Next, if still having issues, let's verify you have no issues with making or receiving calls and have enough memory on the phone. Thanks & keep us posted.

They are US Cellular and have a Samsung Galaxy. They are rec text and sending text.

I have checked SMS MMS msg group--they are on....and i can send texts to myself...

Let’s get your message delivered. Do you know if the recipient is having troubles with receiving messages from anyone else? Are you having trouble with anyone else besides this one individual with receiving your messages? When you are sending the message are you getting any error messages? Please keep us posted.
