I don't know how to uninstall this password program

I must have blown a "micro-chip" because I have to now enter a password on my startup screen to go further.  I cannot remember how I put this on here. So I cannot understand how to remove it...Looked in settings & programs but cannot find it.....I don't want to "reset" my phone...there has to be a way to pull it up & delete it......or not???? :smileyhappy:
