For some, yes. Personally for me, no. Are you using Advanced Calling? If so, that may be your issue in your area. It works perfectly for me in my area but others have posted problems in their areas.

No. If you have the iPhone 6 or 6+ then you can activate Advanced Calling which would allow you to use voice and data at the same time, in addition to the ability to have HD quality phone calls.

The newest iPhones do not support it at this time and older iPhones will not get this particular feature.Sorry if this caused any confusion.

Not sure if you made a typo but iPhone 6 and 6 plus DO have the Advanced Calling 1.0 feature (the link you provided also states this. And I am currently using it and have been since the iPhone 6/6+ came out).
