Hello, the home button on my 5c is non responsive. I have tried to clean it, reset the phone, but nothing works. I am able to use the accessibility feature to use it on screen, but would like to see if anyone else has any solutions.
You did all the fixes, which leaves it being a hardware issue. If the phone is no longer under Apple warranty (> 1 year, or 2 years with Apple Care Plus), you can take it to an iPhone repair center. They will open up the iPhone and fix the button. You can also take it to Apple, and they will give you a refurbished iPhone 5C for $269 out of warranty price.
