I was stationed in the middle of the desert 20 miles north of Wenden Az recently while helping at a off-road race. I actually got better cell service than I do in Lake Havasu, Az. I get nothing but dropped or missed calls in zip code 86404.
We want you to have dependable service no matter where you are located, Dblt97! Are you having any issues with text messages or data? Do you notice the issue both inside and outside at the zip code mentioned? What type of phone do you use (make/model)?

Yes I do have trouble with text and data as pictures time out and have to
be resent. The closer to the center of city (2 to 3 miles) the better. This
is a second home and I have great service everywhere else, including my
other home in Tuttle, Ok. A good friend of mine has AT&T and has no
problems getting calls from this house in Havasu. Phone is a HTC one.
