I have a galaxy s 6 with full coverage protection

I have been having troubles with charging the phone getting hot. I can plug it in with plenty of battery and it will shut off. It gets warm while charging. It will also shut off it a aux jack is plugged into the headphone location Verizon sent me a new Samsung cord and no change. Help

IF it is under warranty request a replacement. Call *611 and ask for help.

We want your phone to work as intended always, Pam. It is normal for all phones to get a bit warmer when charging. I recommend visiting a Verizon Wireless store for a hands on evaluations to confirm if the temperature is within normal range when charging.
As for the power cycling when using the aux jack, we would like to know a bit more on this issue. Does it happen every time you plug a aux cable to the headphones jack? Does the same thing happen when you plug in regular headphones instead of an aux cable? Is there any physical/water damage to the phone?
