G900VVRU2BPB1 messed up desktop

I downloaded and installed the latest software upgrade, G900VVRU2BPB1, yesterday afternoon. Since doing so my desktop has been very unstable. I am unable to install widgets or move/size icons. When pressing the desktop, I used to be able to select a widget to install. Now, the list of widgets appear and disappear right away. Sometimes nothing happens when I press the desktop. Can I delete the latest software until this is corrected?

Updates are meant to improve the device function, not cause troubles. Although we can't revert back to a previous software version here, we can certainly try to find a solution. What kind of device are we working with? When you say your "desktop" are you refering to your home screens? I just want to make sure that we are on the same page.
