Message: version not compatible with your device
I would suggest emailing the developer of the Starbucks application (Starbucks - Android Apps on Google Play) and asking them why it is compatible. It should be.
Contacting Starbucks was my first response, but got no where. After profuse denial of there being a programming error on their end; they just released an update and the app is magically compatible again with my device.
In other words, they figured it out and didn't want to acknowledge their application was broken.
