My Galaxy S4 had speechto Text. It could also create emails using my voice and not having to input the text with my fingers.
What keyboard are you using? I use Swype, and I believe the Google keyboard also has the microphone that allows you to do speech to text. Quite handy....
Pretty sure this could also be done through Google Now. I send texts this way, but have never actually tried with email.
