Why does my Galaxy Note 3 only access the internet when connected to wi-fi?

For 2 days now my note 3 can only access the internet when connected to wifi. The mobile data is checked as "on". Anybody have any ideas?

Have you checked the network mode setting? Reseating the SIM card?
