How can I limit the amount of data used on LG G3?

Question

Since the recent system upgrade, my G3 LG now uses 5 times (literally) more data than its average usage for the past year. What is going on and how can this be fixed? I'm not paying for an overage because you secretly and deceptively changed settings.

Rainbowandlollipops, wow that is a lot of data being used by your device. Let’s take a deeper look as to why. Can you go to Settings and Data Usage. This screen will indicate how the data is being used. This screen will also give you the capability of setting a limit if how much data is used. We also offer a service called Family Base Controls.
