Will my moto x 2ng generation get marshmallow?
I very seriously doubt it. The 2nd gen Moto x never even got Advanced calling / VoLTE, which it sorely needs. You can thank Lenovo for both of these.

No, it will not. Motorola made the decision to not update any of the US carrier branded Moto X 2014 models.
Also other NA products but their Euro/Asian ones will. For example the Moto E and Moto G unlocked and unbranded ones.
