Calibration not working well on my LG Transpyre - ideas?

I have had my LG Transpyre for three months. Lately, the calibration doesn't do any good. I often can't answer calls or even text because the touch just doesn't work until I reset my phone. Any ideas? I already know how to go into the settings and click the start calibration. It doesn't help.

Ksayles2, you definitely need your phone to react when you get calls. Lets figure out why this is happening. Do you have an available software update in your settings? Have you recently downloaded any new applications? When did this start?
