Am retiring LG Lucid phone soon. Can text messages be saved , maybe evn printed out?
You may want to use a text backup and restore app from the Play Store like SMS Backup & Restore - Android Apps on Google Play that will allow you to back up the texts, restore them on the new phone if you wish, and provide a means to print them from your computer.
