My wife's Ellipse 8 receives internet without difficulty on Verizon data but even with a strong wifi signal, it cannot find any web sites or function on the internet. It indicates it is connected but refuses to receive data over the router
Have you tried putting the device in airplane mode and then turning on the wifi radio to see if that let the device connect to the internet without interference from the cellular radio? Also has the device ever connected to your home router or any other wifi connection and connect to the internet?
