issues with text msgs

I'm having trouble with sending and receiving texts all of the sudden. Problem started a day or two ago. Both my husband and I have Verizon, but different phones. When I text him, the texts come through, but they are blank. When he texts me, I never receive it. He can sent and receive texts from other people (not sure what network) with no problem. I haven't received any texts for a few days. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy (or Fascinate). Any suggestions? Is it an issue with the network or my phone?

I would say a phone issue. On your phone try calling *228 and choose option 1 to reset all the zeros and ones and see if that helps.

If not, call from his phone or any other phone but yours, *611 and choose option 3 from the menu tree (Tech support) they will be able to see if a setting is wrong on the device and help you correct it.

thank you for the response. I've tried this and it's still not working. i called tech support and their suggestion was to take the battery out and put it back in. still not working. i sent a text to myself from the verizon website and it says it was delievered, but i never received it on my phone.

i read some other posts on this and it seems to be a known problem that verizon is woking. it just started being an issue about 3 days ago ...
