Cannot receive email on computer when phone is receiving email. How to fix?

phone is using pop3 email & the pc imap.
when the phone gets the email, it's no longer on the server & not available for the pc.
i do imap on phones, pc & laptops & email is available on all until deleted on any 1 of the devices..
