Galaxy S7 Edge

I have a Galaxy S7 edge and this phone will randomly shut off, turn back on and freeze up. At first I thought it was because the battery was low - no it happens when the phone fully charged, half charged or 15% charged. Has anyone else experienced this with the S7 Edge or any other phone?

Could an application be causing the problem? Have you tried running the phone in Safe Mode through the Recovery menu to see if the issue continues in Safe Mode while all the third party application are restricted from loading?

EARJAM96, let's stop your phone from freezing. How long has this been going on? Have you updated apps or software recently? What do you have open on the phone when it happens?
