what do I need to do? My ellipsis 8 tablet won't update

Hi-

I'm not a tekkie... I saw on a post that someone else's tablet wouldn't update, and I saw the response that it wouldn't update over wifi. My tablet repeatedly tells me it can't connect with the server... Does that mean I need to connect it via USB to my Mac?

Have you tried updating the tablet by turning off wi-fi and ensuring that mobile data is on and connected?

Do you have an active sim card in the tablet? e.g. can you use the tablet when not on Wi-Fi? I ask because if you deactivated the tablet or do not have an active SIM card in it.. that will impact (sometimes) being about to pull the update with an Android device.

You can pull the sim card from any activate phone and insert it.... update it over Wi-Fi and you'll be set. Let us know if you have an active sim in it already.
