verizon usb wireless printer

I use Verizon's usb modem for my internet connection. I am having trouble trying to hook up a wireless printer to my laptop? Can anyone help me with this? I have a router but I'm not sure how to get the laptop, printer, router and modem to "talk" to each other so the printer will work. Is there a specific modem for wireless connection to a printer?

I don't know anything about that router, but can you plug your printer directly into the router? I have my printer plugged into my CradlePoint router and can print from any computer connected wirelessly to the router.

I have a similar situation although I do not have a router - isn't that the purpose of getting the usb modem? Anyway, I cannot get the printer to work wireless - Doesn't Verizon have a position on this?
