How do I remove my personal information from the device to prep for sale?

I want to remove MiFi from my Verizon account and sell the device.  How do I remove my personal information from the device to prep for sale.  Any other advice on what to do to prep for sale appreciated.

Remove the SIM card from the device and reset it back to the factory settings.
