new to verizon. i've had bb's before. What is the icon on the upper right hand size of the home screen looks like a cross hair with volume type of markings on the right of it. It's just under the antenna, bluetooth icons.

This looks like a data connection icon. Click on your Manage Connections and untik data and it disappears in the upper right.

The icon is for your GPS antenna. You can turn the GPS on/off by going to MENU>OPTIONS>ADVANCED OPTIONS>GPS.
