Verizon Fios WHAT GIVES!

Houses on the corner of my street on either side offer Fios. I am house number 8 and was told house number 10 can get it, yet they have reached out to technicians who state WE can not get it. We are horribly dissatisfied with Comcast though given my experience with trying to get Fios and having no solutions available despite the otherwise LOCAL availability of it, I am finding myself just as dissatisfied with Verizon. WHY? what good reason is there that we can't have it when I am seemingly in a service black hole with those buildings around me perfectly accessible to the service?

I don't know if this is a Good reason, but what can happen is that V's engineering database can end up missing street addresses that actually exist when they build out an area.
