We are building a carriage house behind our house, adjacent to the public alley. The city requires you to build up to your property line, which put our carriage house nearly in contact with a Verizon pole and in direct contact with the group of wires coming from the pole to an adjacent property. During the construction, the wires were disconnected and are not laying across our roof deck. The pole is only inches from our structure and with the foot/hand holds, it provides easy access to the windows of our living space and the roof deck, and thereby our yard. The contractor has tried to get the matter resolved. Verizon said they were going to move the pole and reroute the wires, but only came out and moved in 2 inches. Trying to resolve the situation, I put in a service request but it was closed without any action. I am trying to get the number or email of someone who can help us get resolution. I should mention that after the wires were cut, Verizon did come out and restore service to the adjacent property by running service from another line. I spoke to the technician and asked him to do something about the pole and wires on our roof, but he did not do anything. I would appreciate some help. Thank you.
