Costco rebate

The more I read, the more I know that this Costco card promise seems to be just that, a promise. We switched over last April with the promise that in 90 days we will get $250 Costco shop cards. It’s not November and we have yet to receive those cards. I called 611 and Verizon agent said, they have nothing to do with the promo, it’s Costco. I asked Costco, and they have no clue. So I went to the Verizon kiosk where we signed up and inquired as to how and why we have not received any sops card now that it’s more than 90 days. Verizon agent said that those digital cards would have been sent via email. We never got any. Zip. None. The agent took down my number but i doubt that he will call.

I open 2 lines in June and July and still not receving the $250 costco gift card. The rep told me to send a receipts and issues to [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] and it has been a week without any response. I will escalate this to district manager by email to see if there are responses. I got the same problem of running around that verizon customer service told me to contact costco.

Same issue here. Added a line August 4, 2023. Was told after 90days I would receive an email with the $250 Costco Shop Card. I waiting 3 weeks after that 90days as it says on the receipt it could take 2-3 weeks to receive the email. Still nothing. Chatted online with a Verizon rep and they said I should have received a notification in the app for a rebate form to submit. Never received anything or was told I needed to do anything. Costco want any help either. Beyond frustrating as we were planning on using that $250 for the holidays!! It’s the only reason we decided to add a line!

Looks like I am another Costco rebate victim. It is well past day 90 and nothing. Switched 3 lines to Verizon from ATT due to ATT’s poor service and the $750 Costco rebate.

I also went to warehouse gave all the details and they said soon someone will reach out but no one replied now it's like running in circles between Verizon expert chat and Costco warehouse. I switched to Verizon for the $250 costco gift card back in July, still no gift card! I've been checking my email daily, receving verizon emails no problem. It has now been 5 months. HELP.

We purchased 6 new iphones and transferred 7 lines over at the beginning of July. We still have not received the promised Costco Cards. When we ask Verizon at the kiosk, they tell us to go up to Costco Customer Service . When we go up to Costco customer service, they point to Verizon. We feel like no one is helping us and we are getting the run around. Is anyone able to help?

Thanks for reaching out. That is a great question about what/when to expect the Costco Shop Card.

The Digital Shop Card email takes up to 14 weeks to deliver.
The gift card does not order until after the customer hits the 90 day time frame for the Costco Return Policy.
You will receive Costco's email with the Digital Shop Card from costco@digitalshopcard.costco.com.
If you do not receive the ecard 3 weeks after the 90 day return policy has expired please reach back out to Verizon.

we are experiencing the same issue , we have moved about 5 lines from att to verizon . and still not received the gift cards . when we try reaching out verizon i am given a diff contact info everytime

Purchase was done on Aug 6. We are Dec 24. That is almost five months, and still nothing... and when calling Verizon Customer Service they keep telling me that they cannot find any such promo and it is something I need to work with Costco, not Verizon... so so so frustrating!!!

Same situation here. I opened two lines a few months ago and still haven’t received them. They also were running a promo for $100 Visa card for each line. Now the Verizon kiosk is gone from Costco. I was told I would be receiving 2 $250 Costco cards and 2 $100 Visa cards. This is the only reason I switched over. Pretty disappointing for my first experience with Verizon after 22 years with AT&T.

Hi, I'm having the same issue as well. Opened a new line at a Verizon Kiosk in Costco for the $250 gift card after 90 days in late August 2023, went back to Costco after 90 days to ask about the promotion, but the Verizon Kiosk was gone. Started searching online and found my way to this forum. Really appreciate others speaking up about this. Could I also get some help?

We weren’t told about any forms or rebates to fill out. We were told we’d get an email about the Visa card within the next month or so and then the Costco cards would take a bit longer.

I have the same issue. In my case it's been over 6 months. I talked to the Verizon rep at Costco and they directed me to the Costco customer service, who then directed my back to the Verizon rep, so I got no where.

I called version customer support about over a month ago and was told the Gift Card would be NOW be sent and look for it in email. So, if I had not called I would never receive it?

Still nothing. My next action is to go to Costco management and threaten further more severe action and let Costco
know how these practices are reflecting negatively on the Costco brand and their customer service.

I hope to here from someone at Verizon.

I know much I would value a Costco shop card these days with grocery prices like they are, vm_sp. I regret learning that you've attempted to contact us over the last 30-days for help without any resolution.

We're here to help, and we will need account access to take a look into this. I do know that once the 90-day period passes, which is Costco's return period, it can take up to 14-weeks for the shop card to arrive.

Been close to 5 month since I switched and I still don’t see Costco gift card. Last time I posted here Verizon rep reached out to me asking me a bunch of question including taking photo of original receipt which shows my eligibility for the Costco gift card. Good thing I still have the original receipt or they would straight out deny me. After submitting everything, I was told this would be transferred/escalated. I believe that was almost a month ago and still nothing. Not sure if it is Costco or Verizon but this type of promotion is definitely not reliable since no one is taking responsibility.

It's been 10 months since I upgraded and still nothing

I have followed up with both Costco and Verizon numerous times, not sure what else to do. It is Sept now, almost a year since I transferred to Verizon at a Verizon booth in a Costco warehouse.

Have you checked your junk/spam email folder or tried to retrieve deleted messages, as the rebate email comes from the address

"costco at digitalshopcard dot costco dot com" (I had to type it out because the forum software otherwise removes it. If you can't see this later, go to the Announcements link under Quick Links, and look for the article about the Costco rebate for the details.)
