Thunderbolt looses internet connection all the time when its in a 3G area

Have you switched the connection mode to CDMA auto (PRL) mode while in 3G areas. My 3G connection is quite stable in that mode. It will wink out (disappear) a lot if I leave the phone in CDMA + LTE/EDVO auto mode. I live in a 3G only location.

And yes they are aware of it. I actually talked with one of VZW employees that post on this community to add my experience and impressions to product issue database.

Same issue for me as well --- it also happens w/ hotspot conectivity. It was so frusturating that I filmed it. See video below:
