Time keeps changing...

My time keeps changing on the RAZR. I've had to go into settings a few time and make it go back to Eastern time. It sets itself ahead an hour. Does it on it's own, and if I restart my phone for anything I have to go back into it and redo the clock. It will not stay on Eastern Time, anyone else having this???

Is your time setting on Automatic? If so I think I'd be calling VZW...that is if you haven't installed anything that might over-ride the system settings.

Hello Kyla! I understand that would be a very annoying issue to have your time constantly changing on its own. I checked, and I am not showing this as a known issue with the Razr. As smashogre suggested, make sure your phone is set to automatic in Settings>Date & time. Has this just started? Did this start after installing any new applications? Try removing your battery and SIM for a few seconds and reinsert to reactivate phone. Also, make sure your software is up to date by going to Settings>About phone>System updates>Check New.

Dear VZW Support:

The Razr does not have a removable battery. VZW's instructions for the OTA update spoke about pulling the battery to reset the phone. Razr owners would very much appreciate it if VZW would properly inform its employees about the correct operation of the phones they support.
