ahhhh, just checked my order status on VerizonWireless.com and this time, it showed a tracking # for FedEx :smileywink:

Overnight shipping, will arrive by Oct. 28, 2011 - 4:30 PM! :smileyhappy:

That's what it used to show for me. Mine used to show ship date of 10/28 but I received it today (Oct 25). It actually shpped on the 24th. There is probaby no way to know exactly when you'll receive yours. Hopefully earlier than 11/04... The waiting sucks :smileysad:

I too am waiting. I ordered mine on 10/17 from a store as well and called vzw yesterday and they said it still shows that it is to arrive by 10/28. I have checked my debit card and they have no took the $$ for it yet nor is there any other information about it shipping. It was my understanding that it is 2 day shipping so it should go out today to get to me by Friday. It is frustrating but we can do nothing but wait. That poster that got his/hers yesterday, did you get a shipping confirmation on it? Need to be home to sign for it so I need to know what day it is being delivered (although I do have a FedEx doortag that I can sign but I don't want to keep putting it on the door everytime I go somewhere). I figure it is not going to ship until that take their money out of the bank right??

I contacted Verizon last week about my order because my card wasn't charged yet either so I was worried the order didn't go through and I was told they won't charge the money to your card until the day the phone ships.

Just went to go check my order status on the VerizonWireless order status thingy..

Found a + in the Tracking # box and I clicked it and it says...

Ship Date:

Courier:

Status: Your order will ship by 10/28/2011

Hope I get it by Friday! :smileyhappy: I didn't get a tracking # email yet either so.

I got tired of waiting. I called my local apple store and they had the 4s in stock. I cancelled my order with Verizon and my new 4s without any problems. I am loving this phone. Oh I was told in my local apple store that they get shipments in every morning.

There's no local Apple store in my area. Lmao. Have to travel about an hour and a half away.

Mine still says order in process :smileysad: The confirmation email says "will ship by 10-28" when I check the order status it says "expected ship date 10-28". I also ordered mine on the morning of the 18th.

My 10/17 order ws just updated this morning with a tracking number, and I received a shipping notification email. . Looks like that happens the day after they charge your card.

Looks like mine is being shipped overnight, will get here tomorrow sometime.

I purchased my Iphone on oct. 17th, shipped on Oct. 25th they tried to deliver it on oct. 26th but since I did not get any emails sayig it was shipped I missed it because I was at work, they updated the verizons order status after they tired to deliver the phone so watch out for the Fed Ex driver or leave a note if you're not home, mine is being delivered as a second attempt today here in Minnesota.

No emails, no charges to my card, still shows order as processing. Very frustrated. My Droid broke in August and I've gone through 3 crappy phones since then...currently using an HTC Droid Eris I bought off eBay that is very buggy and the GPS always freezes up when I'm driving. I WANT MY NEW PHONE!

I purchased my iPhone 4S 32GB Black on 23Oct11 at about 11am from a Verizon Wireless Store here in Denver. I received and email notification with the a preorder confirmation number, order number, order location number and ship by: 4Nov11. When I check order status I see my order number but no tracking number as of yet....

They won't start sending your iPhone out till they successfully took the $200+ out of your credit card.

My parents bought this for me since my birthday is coming up so, I guess Apple already took the $200+ out of my parent's card :smileytongue:

Well, today's the 28th and they still haven't charged my card. So much for "will ship by 10-28". I'm very irritated.

Ordered at store on 10/23 My Credit Card has yet to be charged as of 10/28

Be prepared to wait. I ordered mine on the 18th and the confirmation email said "will ship by 10/28". I called Verizon this morning and was told my order is still processing. I was also told they don't ship on the weekends because the warehouse is closed, so if my phone doesn't ship today it won't ship until Monday.

Ordered my phone 2 weeks ago, with ship date of 10/28. Last weekend randomly ran into an authorized retailer who had one in stock. Cancelled my preorder, and have been arguing with Siri ever since :smileyhappy:

Ordered on 10/23 - Confirming email says will ship by 11/4 - Tracking page now indicates will be shipped on 11/4 - Haven't checked to see if CC has been billed
