Has anyone with a 9/21 deliver date NOT gotten a shipment email?

My order status still says:

"Here is the status of your Pre-order:

We received your order and it is in process.

Expected Ship Date: 09/21/2012 "

No E-mail saying they've shipped. No charge to my account. No change in order status?

Am I the only one?! lol I see a lot of people saying theirs are already shipped and bank accounts charged.

I can't even describe what a terrible pre-ordering process this was. Ordered the phone at midnight (launch day) through Verizon and it was processing until exactly 10:00pm tonight (the 19th). Never received and email. There was never any amount pending on my card. Calling the automated system informed me that my device had apparently been delivered and activated. Numerous calls to CS left me with multiple answers and none of them helped. A visit to a physical store didn't resolve anything either. At about 9:30pm tonight the "Expected Ship Date" disappeared and a blank tracking no and courier field popped up. Then at 10:00pm the money was finally deducted from my debit card. I still don't know if I'll be recieving my phone on Friday, but at least I know the process has finally moved along.

I'm pretty sure everything in the account gets all messed up when it's actually processing and getting ready to be shipped so you should be good. I was on the macrumors forum and everyone was freaking out about all the changes to their account and then a few hours later they received tracking information. Don't get too freaked out yet!

At least this is somewhat encouraging. I still have a $1 pending charge on my AMEX. Pre-ordered the damn thing at 3:08 A.M. on the 14th. Here is what my screens look like. I got a confirmation about 2 minutes after I ordered, and nothing since. Yet it's telling me to refer to the email regarding some sort of error.

Was on the phone with them for about an hour today and talked to three different people. 2 CS and 1 in sales. All 3 told me something different. What a mess. Who knows if I'll ever get this thing.

Only thing that is leaving me encouraged is the fact that a lot seem to be coming out of the PA area. I live in Pittsburgh, maybe they are shipping phones outside the state first to make sure everyone gets theirs on the 21st. Who knows.

My story is pretty good too. Ordered last Friday at 4 am, order went nowhere until today. To be ready I called my Visa card company yesterday and told them the amount exactly and who would be charging it, and they documented it. Then today Verizon tried to charge my account and it was denied. I get a call a few hours ago from the cc company asking for verification which I did. When I raised hell about my advanced notice they look at my account and said, oh look it's in our files.

After 30 minutes with Verizon, they got the charge through and I now await my confirmation for shipping. We'll see if they make Friday delivery now.

They started to process my AMEX about 7 PM Wednesday...but no - no email yet from Verizon. I ordered 7 AM Eastern on the 14th.

I purchased online 09/14/2012 before 0700 EST. Received email confirmation at 0700 EST. Doesn't seem right, butwhat can you do. This is my status:

L_Ann_F that message means your credit card / debit card transaction for the purchase was refused and you need to call them to find out why and then call Verizon to pay for it otherwise your phone will never ship. It happened to me today since the oh so smart guy who took my order decided to do it in 2 transactions (I bought 2 phones) so the first transaction went through fine but it was followed by the second transaction and Chase said NO NO NO your not charging our valued customer twice, called Chase and explained and all is well now, HOWEVER I got my email tracking on the first phone...guess what yeah the second phone NOTHING not even a delivery date at all

I've heard that verizon has had to cancel orders because they have over preordered out. Friend told me it was getting ready to ship and they canceld it last second

Thanks BaylorDude. I called the credit card company. Chase. They have denied nothing on my card. Called Verizon. We ran the card through again. She asked me for my zip code for the card. It is different than the billing zip, so I think that was the problem. When she ran the card through again with the correct billing zip code, it went right through. Hopefully that will change my ship date from what I saw this morning, 10/21 to 09/21. Closer than I was last night. :smileyhappy:

Just checked my Chase card. There is a charge pending for my iphone for the correct amount. So, I should be ok now. Or at least I hope so. LOL

Well...no email from VZW yet, but AMEX is processing the charge and the regular order status page finally works (previously, I always had to use the preorder portal).

In any case, what the site now shows is two radio buttons that, when expanded show the same information:

Courier : BLANK

Status: Your order will ship by 09/21/2012

Ship Date: BLANK

So...my order WILL ship by? Hmmm..OK, I guess. :-/

I ordered around 2:45 on Friday (EST), so actually before preordering was supposed to open. I got a confirmation email from VZW with a time stamp of 2:52 am that said deliver by (not ship by) 9/21. I bought a white 64GB. We called last night because there was no change in status and spoke to three CSRs that kept dancing around my questions. Finally, late last night (9/19), the money was removed from my account. As of 7:40 am today (9/20), I STILL have not received any shipping notification and the order status is still showing as being processed with no carrier/tracking information added.

I'm not getting my phone tomorrow like they promised, am I? It's been around 10 or 11 hours since the money was removed from my account. Shouldn't I have gotten a shipment email with tracking info by now? For what it's worth, I live in Jersey and my order number is 990XX. I had to be one of the first that placed an order, given that I placed my order AND received a confirmation email with a 9/21 deliver date before preorders were even supposed to start (I kept refreshing the page and preorders appeared about 15 minutes early).

I wouldn't give up hope yet. I ordered at 7:30 am EDT on 9/14. They charged my credit card late last night and I got my tracking number early this morning for a 9/21 delivery. They're sending it from PA to NYC by overnight delivery. I suspect if they've removed the money from your account that you're good to go. If they send it by overnight delivery today you should still receive it by tomorrow (though of course someone will need to be around to sign for the package).

My card was charged and then wehn I checked the pre order status it stated that it would ship 9/28, so I called Verizon and they said that having your card charged is the best way to tell when its coming because they can only charge the card when it actually ships so sometimes the status updates dont refresh as quick because when i check the regular order status on verizonwireless.com it says ship by 9/21, but they confirmed that it will be delivered by 9/21 so hang tight. im waiting for my shipping info as well but card charged is a step in the right direction.

Finally got my card charged this morning. Actually had an email from Verizon that my order was on hold, and called them immediately. Guess they needed to verify my credit card. I asked the rep if my phones would still ship today, and it sounds like it should.

I'm watching my preorder status for a tracking number... nothing yet.

They charged my card last night and after checking the pre order status and seeing a 9/28 deliver date i called verizon adn they said that was a msitake and i would have it friday. but now when i chek the pre order status page again it just says that it was sent for processing but nothing else, no shipping no nothing, should i be concerned? does this just change after the pre order status is filled and its technically a full order because it shipped? how long have people been waiting for tracking info from the time their card was charged?

Soon after my card was charged my phone was shipped, probably close to 12 hours later.

After I spoke with CS yesterday and was told 09/26, today I just got my confirmation for delivery tomorrow by 3pm.

My card was charged close to midnight Tuesday night, and Wednesday morning at 4:50 a.m. I received my tracking information. If they charge, they are more than likely shipping. They won't charge you until they have a phone ready to ship for you.

It's now been about 17-1/2 hours since the money was removed from my account, and still no shipping email or tracking numbers. I think 1pm (less than 30 minutes from now) is the deadline for shipping overnight ... although I would guess Apple has some pull with FedEx, so who knows? I've checked my order status on VZW (under Check Order Status and what appears to be a business order lookup that someone posted a few days ago) and it's still saying that my order is being processed and will ship BY 9/21 (my confirmation email, time stamped 2:44:04 am on 9/14, says deliver by date is 9/21 ... not ship date, but DELIVER BY DATE). I'm sooo frustrated and disappointed. I'm wondering if it's because I ordered a 64GB white one. It seems that most people ordered 32GB and I'm guessing black is more popular than white.

Mine has been about 13 hours and still nothing. This is getting even more frustrating. It's like Verizon gives you just enough info (like a card charge) and then brings you down again with no email or tracking #. The person I spoke to said that CS might have the tracking numbers if you call. I might try that option.
